Visions en femení

From March 6th to April 4th, 2026

Group exhibition “Visions en femení”.

“Visions en femení” is an invitation to look again. To observe the world through eyes that have, for far too long, been relegated to the margins of art history and cinema. This exhibition brings together the work of women artists who, from different disciplines, eras and geographies, have challenged dominant images and have constructed new ways of seeing, narrating and existing.

The title refers both to the gaze—this intimate and political force at once—and to vision as a creative act. The women featured here have not just taken up the camera, the brush, or the screen: they have transformed its language. They have challenged imposed roles, turned personal experience into a collective space, and made cinema and art a territory of liberation and identity exploration.

In a world where images define the way we think and feel, “Visions en femení” proposes a space of resistance and light. A place where each work is an open window: onto memory, desire, the body, history, and the possibility of a new, shared gaze.

This journey is also a tribute. To the invisibility pioneers, to the filmmakers and artists who worked in silence, to the contemporary creators who continue to forge new paths. Each of them reminds us that to look is also a form of action, and that every vision is, inevitably, a stance.

The artists participating in this exhibition are: Ana Kai, Carme Magem, Carme Molet, Corine Ko, Hélène Gélinas, Lídia Masllorens, Marta Lastra, Marta Pruna and Violeta Prim.
