The artist Aurembiaix Sabaté proposes, with Florir, an intimate journey to the root of matter — and, at the same time, towards air, light and the shedding of what is no longer necessary. In this new series, the flower emerges not only as an image of ephemeral beauty but as a symbol of rebirth, of silent gestation and of connection with the natural cycle of transformation.
It is an impulse that the artist identifies as part of her process: ‘the impulse that guides me to discover the true essence’. This essence transcends the surface of the canvas or wood, going beyond the visible matter to invite us to contemplate what lies behind — the gesture, the footprint, the trace of an inner time that takes shape.
