Paisatges del silenci
From September 17th to October 20th, 2025
Rosa Agenjo's pictorial universe is deeply rooted in nature and the agricultural landscape of the Lleida region. In this new exhibition at the Espai Cavallers Gallery, the artist presents a series of works that engage in dialogue with the cyclical rhythm of the earth, with the memory of cultivated fields, and with the discreet beauty of the rural environment.
With a visual language that oscillates between abstraction and figurative suggestion, Agenjo constructs spaces of silence and contemplation that evoke the textures of crops, the changing tones of light, and the poetry of rural life. His painting does not describe; it suggests. It does not illustrate; it sensitively interprets that which remains on the margins, that which is often only perceived when viewed with attentive and respectful eyes.
Each work is an intimate approach to a lived, not idealized, nature that is part of the artist's daily and emotional experience. The earth, the sky, the fruits, and the traces of human labor become pictorial material, but also symbols of a slower time, more connected to natural cycles and to a deep-rooted wisdom.
Agenjo thus invites us to look inward through the landscape; to rediscover, through art, the profound value of an environment that speaks—in a quiet voice—of identity, belonging, and resistance.
