ARTIST'S STATEMENT
A drawing from life, synthesised; I wanted to repeat it in a different proportion, changing from vertical to horizontal and altering the colour order.
The colours of the Palestinian flag and the cypress tree, which symbolise death and the disasters of war.
A small orange ray is visible through the cracks, which perhaps promises a better future.

Divina Drudis was born and lives in Lleida. Academically, she studied Fine Arts; professionally, she has worked as an art teacher and a visual artist.
