CONSTRUCTION SITE
Violet work by the artist Perico Pastor, is d’a plastic lyricism absolutely connected mainly to daily themes and to the tractament of cos humà, mainly the feminine one. The artist has exhibited in many countries of the different continents, gathering a world of adepts among all those people who do not seek in art the fidelitat to a doctrine, but the spontaneity of sentiments.
In the actuality he resides in Barcelona, but he has seen different indrets on the planet. He goes viure dotze anys to New York, where he published several illustrations of him to Harper's, to the Village Voice, Vogue, and especially to The New York Times. Aquestes Col·laboracions li van permetre investigate sense urgències on his seva work.
EXHIBITIONS
In 1980 he exhibited for the first time at the Cornelia Street Cafe, and in 1983 he exhibited for the first time at the Estampa fair in Madrid. From llavors fins to 1989, he combines illustration and painting in New York and Barcelona. He exhibited in Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, Hong Kong, Paris, New York, Tòquio, Sag Harbor and Miami. In 1993 he will be awarded the Morera Medal of the Lleida City Council for the joint work of his; in 1997 he rep the special award of the COE to the Biennal de l ’Esport a les Belles Arts.
Currently, because he is fully dedicated to painting, he also collaborates with different communication skills and teaching in New York. His seva work is troba in some of the thousand public and private collections arreu del món.
