Yury Yarosh was born in Belarus in 1969. He currently lives and works in Spain. After several years of studies and practices he completed his professional training at the Academy of Fine Arts of Belarus in Misk.
Yury Yarosh brings into play a fanciful realism to which he adds a special magical touch. He understands painting as a technical exercise, as a demonstration of his pictorial capacity. He is a great cartoonist and is a master in colour management. A female nude goes beyond descriptive perfection and turns it into a study of lights, of transparencies, everything is a dream reality.
And you adenes a broad syllabus; any subject suits you. And so it is installed in still lifes in which it alternates fruits with crystalline transparencies or soft glows of copper and porcelain or develops landscapes, draws attention to the different modes of focusing on space; in its spatial composition it sometimes resorts to elements of Greek art such as sculptures, friezes, capitals or broken columns, using the Greek legacy as a symbol of aesthetics and art.., since in Greece the main artistic manifestations that have marked the evolution of Western art were developed, or recreates its figures in sometimes intimate and close spaces inspired by Venetian elements as a symbol of festivity and fantasy and when it comes to large spaces as a background it shows us its idyllic landscapes.
This is the creative art of Yuri Yarosh, a painter who has become a worthy representative of the painting that develops in his country. His works are already part of private collections in Belarus, Russia. Spain, Holland, France, Italy, Germany, the United States, Canada and Australia.
