Palmira *Rius Tormo, graduated in Audiovisual Communication, Diploma in Nursing, has worked as a professor of community nursing and Art and Science at the University of Lleida (1990-2016). She expresses herself through textile works, sculptures, paintings and installations in nature and through writing. She has exhibited in New York, Lausanne, Andorra, Madrid, Tortosa, Osca, Lleida, Vitòria, Barcelona, Saragossa, Tàrrega, La Granadella, among others, in individual and collective exhibitions. Selected in the exhibition "Reflexos internacionals de Gaudí", held at the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, 10th edition Premi de Belles arts Sant Jordi (2015) and exhibition at the Fira Internacional de fibres vegetals de Mas de Barberans (Tarragona) and has participated with tapestries and vegetal works at the Campus d'Agrònoms de la Universitat de Lleida. The project "Textures i algunes Lectures" has toured six libraries in Madrid.

She collaborates with academic proposals, participates in research groups and as a trainer in different associations and groups, especially to promote creativity and dynamism through art.

She continues a path of experimentation based on different elements of nature, textiles, metals and making her own the maxim of the found treasure...
