The muse of Carole Puéo
Sometimes dreamy, seductive, melancholic or mischievous, the artist's muse dissects the codes of representation. The artist uses natural elements (flowers, moon, stars, animals…), dress codes (logo T-shirts, punk, romantic, femme fatale), feelings (melancholy, dream, clowning), constantly renewing her research on the representation of women.

The question of the look
In her drawings, thousands of lines cross each other, some delicate like a wrinkle at the corner of the eye, others harder. All of them cohabit with harmony. The color of the acrylic sometimes accentuates, in relief, an aspect of the portrait. The gaze is central to her work, and the artist attaches particular importance to its rendering. Looks that invite, reassure, question, seduce, amuse but in all cases do not leave indifferent.
