The artist Maite Farreres participates in Galeria Espai Cavallers

A multidisciplinary artist who works in illustration, painting and drawing using various techniques such as Chinese ink, watercolour, acrylic and oil on canvas or paper.

She has combined his studies in Higher Artistic Illustration at the Pau Gargallo School of Arts and the Lleida School of Fine Arts with studies in Public Management and Administration, a master’s degree in Economic and Financial Management, a master’s degree in Digital Marketing and an Executive MBA.

Currently, her work focuses on watercolour combined with Chinese ink. Her work is characterised by a marked spontaneity and freshness, with a relaxed and vital visual language. Her brushwork is firm and expressive, while the colour palette, rich in bright and luminous colours, brings light, energy and dynamism to her compositions. The result is vibrant and fresh work.

She has recently exhibited in New York, Paris, Luxembourg, Budapest, Barcelona, Madrid, San Sebastián and Lleida, at art fairs and galleries.

Finalist for the Ciutat de Barcelona ‘AGBAR’ awards in 2023 and 2024.
