Border is a term that designates a term, that is, a word that designates a limit, an imaginary line where something supposedly ends. But things are never finished as easily as by drawing a line across them.

In reality, the opposite is true: a border is always the place where something begins. And it starts not from the limit beyond or beyond, but at the limit itself. Because every limit is a challenge to overcome, and every border is an invitation to cross it.

A border limit is therefore the implicit seed of a conflict, of a permanently open front that struggles to cross the line, to transgress it, to transcend it. Not without reason, the word border is a derivative of front. And a front is also a human drama: the effort and wear and tear of the struggle that the obstacle entails.

But the incision that cuts the territory inflames the area and inevitably hypertrophies its activity: trade, smuggling, exchange, migration and, ultimately, the desire to keep passing, more than ever. Hyperactivity sews up the wound, cauterizes it, assumes it as a bridge and not as a wall, and the tenacity of traffic becomes a new shared value on both sides, a new feature of the indelible common identity.

Once the bond is consolidated, the scar hardens the tissue and unites with greater force and promiscuity the land that the stripe sought to divide. The border is the skin with which territories make love, with which peoples find harmony where states seek discord.

Visual work: collages, photography and, above all, visual poetry.

He has participated with photos and visual poems in some collective exhibitions, and has collaborated with graphic and literary work in various magazines, newspapers and publications.

He belongs to the generation of poets who gave us their debut by reciting at the L’Horiginal bar in Barcelona, where his first show Poeta i pelacanyes was born.

You will find him reciting on stages but also in squares and streets, in small festivals but also bars, folk houses, vindictive events, social events, art exhibitions and cultural activities.

In 2014 he won the Poetry Slam of Lleida several times and in 2019 he won the prize for the best original poem at the I Premi de Recitació Poètica del Segrià (others will remember me for the poem “Dictatorship”). All in all, about fifteen anthologies of poetry and narrative collect texts and musicians of the caliber of David Esterri, Jordi Viladomat and Sissa Viva with whom he has set poems to music.
