The artist Pere Sala participates in Galeria Espai Cavallers

Pere Sala Soy is a sculptor born in Vic in 1962. He graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 1998, specialising in sculpture.

In his works, the artist attempts to accurately capture the balance of bodily postures through bronze, his preferred material for all his projects.

His work has both classical and contemporary connotations, especially in terms of the themes and dynamism of his compositions.

Some say that his work is reminiscent of the great masters of the 19th century due to his mastery of technique, finishes and patinas. He delicately captures energy, beauty and youth through the shapes of bodies, always in balanced and elegant poses, avoiding exaggeration and forced movements.
