Carmen Magem Prat was born in St. Vicenç de Castellet (Barcelona), where he lived until the end of the 80's. He currently resides in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

His artistic training begins very soon in the Artistic Circle of Manresa, he continues Sabadell and at the Municipal School of Art of Sant Cugat del Vallès.

He is studying university nursing and gynecology and obstetrics. Exercise your midwife profession since 1981.

Her career has always been divided between the world of health, in the field of care for women and the world of art, exhibiting in different galleries in Barcelona, ​​Vitória, Lleida, Granollers, Terrassa, Sabadell, Zaragoza, Seville. , Oman, United Arab Emirates, among others. He also participates in prestigious international fairs such as St-Art in Strasburg, Salon since old-fashioned in Nancy, Lille Art Fair, Abu Dhabi Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair in Singapore, London, NY, ect.

For a long time he worked mainly in oil and drawing and since the beginning of 2005 he has been introduced to collage, achieving his own technique that combines it with oil painting, creating a very characteristic effect in his works.

Immersed more and more in this technique, deepening and investigating all its possibilities, it deals with diverse subjects, between which it emphasizes the feminine figure, the portrait and different faces full of expressiveness.

The portrait is a significant part of his work, mythical characters from the world of cinema, the arts, the culture, the social fight ... and also of individuals realized by order.

Lately he has collaborated with different publications and his works have been covered of national and international books and magazines.
